BENEFITS OF STRIPWOUND METAL HOSE

Stripwound metal hose provides the ability to transfer abrasive materials between two points. One main benefit is the ability to not contaminate the transferred product with any residue. When transferring abrasive materials, interlocked hose has an advantage over softer hose. Sharp or hard materials can damage the internal coatings of softer hose and leads to contamination of the transferred product.

PRECISION HOSE PRODUCTS

Precision Hose & Expansion Joints manufactures a wide range of sizes. These range from 1/8″ I.D. (inside diameter) to 16″ I.D., with larger sizes available upon special request. Also, our interlocked and square locked products are available in 300 series stainless steel, galvanized, brass, bronze, and monel.

Additionally, a wide variety of extruded covers are available if required. This includes PVC, Silicone, Rubber, Polyurethane, Teflon, and more. The entire product line is available in the same materials as our regular rough bore interlock hose. For special applications, fittings can be welded or brazed on interlocked metal hose in our fabrication facility.
